Sikkim Manipal University was established in 1992 .Government of Sikkim and Manipal Pai foundation made an agreement with each other for the advancement of Indian education.
The complete functionality of the university was completed in 1995.The university is approved by government of India and recognized under the UGC Act Section 2(f). 1956 vide letter No F.9-7/96(CCP-I) Dated 9th December 1998.
1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery
